Hi well it’s now June 26th and finally we are getting some good winter rains at last.
The only problem is we have only just finished replacing our old steel culverts in our creek line with concrete pipes due to mechanical breakdowns……!
To keep cars off it until it can dry out a little we have a diversion in place and to access the office guests will need to use the Irvine Road entrance, luckily we have several access points onto the local roadways. So if you see a sign just follow the directions…..
The frogs are really croaking now, you forget their loverly sounds over the summer. We are hoping to get a survey done on the frog population at Yelverton Brook Eco Spa Retreat & Conservation Sanctuary this year.
So if you know anyone please call us on 0897 557579 or email retreat@yelvertonbrook.com.au
The Woylies are doing really well and the Bandicoots are expanding their home range as well. Seeing diggings around the chalets and clients are beginning to see them as well after several years. Shows how much damage a fox can do!
Regards Joy
